I’m a 23-year-old, Auburn Journalism student who needs to spend more time outside battling my innate pastiness. As a kid, my military parents always dragged my sister and I to whatever park or hiking trails we happened to live by, which eventually developed into a healthy love for all things outside. In high school in Tampa, I’d spend afternoons throwing a cast-net on the bay’s beaches or fishing mangroves for Snook. Even my first year of college was mostly spent on a Colorado ski slope, but I digress. All my life I’ve enjoyed relatively boy scoutish pursuits and hopefully, I find some in Alabama. Given that its the deep south, I probably won’t have to look too hard.
